Thank you for visiting our website!

Our Kaiser family has been involved in auto racing since the very early 1960's and has had a lot of fun and success along the way.  My dad, Jim, with his brothers, Robert (Bob), and Lonnie, are the ones who got it going with racing Modified Hardtops at Vallejo Speedway in 1963.  It was a great time and was probably the most fun that we will ever have racing.  The cars were cool, the engines were loud(no one complained), and the racing was fantastic.  The cars were all hand built and every one of them was unique.  Some were clunkers and some were awesome for their time.  Those of us that were there would all agree on that.

These pages here are for everybody.  The young ones who like the new cars, and the old geezers who love the old cars.  I like all of them.  The early Vallejo Speedway hardtops are probably my favorite cars, but the 1970's super-modifieds at West Capitol, 1980's to 1990's sprint cars at Baylands and San Jose, and the new pavement sprint cars from today are all very cool too.  Take a look at all of them!

Alan Kaiser - the one who got it all going again!

This first page is dedicated to Alan, who deserves all the credit, for kicking us in the rear end and getting us back to the races.  He is slightly younger than me but has much more drive and ambition to get out there and race.  Around 2003, about 8 years since our last race car, Alan went out and purchased a used Tognotti pavement sprint car, and decided that it was time to go racing again.  This car was the purple and yellow #45 car pictured at the top of the page.  After racing this car at tracks like Carson City, Tuscon, Las Vegas and Altamont for about a year and half he went out and bought a new Eagle chassis sprint car and started getting more serious about racing.  This car was much faster and racing started getting much more serious.  It's the burgundy #94 pictured here.  This is the car that I am driving now in 2006!

Boy, racing sure has gotten expensive!

We race on a pretty tight budget.  Alan and I pretty much pay for every nut and bolt out of our own pockets, Alan owns the car and I just pay for maintenance and racing costs.  But it still adds up!  What else are you going to spend your money on?  Right!

At the beginning of the 2005 season, Alan decided to step out of the drivers seat and put in USAC champion Tony Hunt, when Tony suddenly became available right before the first race of the season.  They had some success that year and finished in the top 5 almost every race and finished 4th in the point standings.  In 2006, he decided to really get serious and bought new Beast chassis roller and a new Bailey Bros. engine, and proceded to win 7 of 14 races and the 2006 championship in the USAC Sprint Western States division including winning the prestigous Turkey Night grand prix at Irwindale Speedway.  Nice going!!!!

2006 was also my first year back in a race car since 1997. (thanks to Alan for letting me drive the #94 car).  My goal that year?  Learn to race on pavement oval tracks and don't wreck the car!
